Artykuł analizuje ewolucję roli reklamy w strukturze zintegrowanej komunikacji marketingowej (IMC) w warunkach transformacji cyfrowej.
The article examines the transformation of the role of advertising within the structure of Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) in the context of digital transformation. Its aim is to identify key turning points at which advertising ceases to function as the central integrative mechanism of brand communication. The study adopts a qualitative approach based on case studies of selected global campaigns (Dove, Nike, Spotify). The analysis demonstrates a shift from a hierarchical, campaign-driven model to an ecosystem-based model, where data, digital platforms, and user activity play a crucial role. The findings indicate that contemporary integration of marketing communication is systemic in nature, while advertising operates as one component of a dynamic relational system, also performing value-creating and intervention functions.
