Internet jako medium oddziałujące na wychowanie dziecka w wieku przedszkolnym

Abstract

Dzieci w wieku przedszkolnym mają często kontakt z internetem, zanim jeszcze nauczą się poprawnie mówić. A zatem należałoby świadomie wprowadzać to medium do procesu wychowania dziecka, gdyż może się ono w sposób kreatywny przyczynić do jego wszechstronnego rozwoju. Dużo skuteczniej osiąga się cele wychowania zabawą, ekspresją czy ujawnianiem potencjału twórczego, które to aktywności daje się również realizować przy pomocy komputera połączonego z siecią. Poprawnie wykorzystywany komputer lub telefon z dostępem do internetu jest źródłem wielu możliwości edukacyjnych. Jednak zasoby tego medium mogą się stać zarówno źródłem problemów, jak i szans dla szeroko pojmowanego rozwoju dzieci. Nauczyciele edukacji przedszkolnej i rodzice dzieci w tym wieku powinni sami umieć korzystać z zasobów internetu i nie bać się ich włączać w proces wychowania dziecka. Należy jednak uważać na to, by internet nie stał się elektroniczną niańką w zastępstwie, dającą rodzicom czas dla realizacji swoich spraw.

Often, pre-school children have contact with the Internet before they even learn to speak properly. Therefore this medium should be consciously introduced into the child’s upbringing, as it may contribute creatively to their comprehensive development. Educational goals are achieve much more effectively through play, expression and unleashing creative potential – activities that may be carried out using a computer connected to the Internet. When used correctly, a computer or a mobile phone with Internet access is a source of many educational opportunities. However, Internet resources may be both a source of problems and opportunities for the broadly understood development of children. Pre-school teachers and parents of children at this age must be able to use Internet resources themselves, not be afraid of them and include them in the process of raising a child. However, care must be taken to ensure that the Internet does not become an electronic babysitter as a substitute that gives parents time to take care of their own affairs.
