Logopedia jako nauka w świetle internalizmu

Abstract

Artykuł dotyczy logopedii rozumianej w kategoriach nauki. Ramą opisu uczyniono internalizm, czyli pogląd metanaukowy hołdującym przekonaniu, że napędem nauki są aspekty wewnętrze, przede wszystkim czynniki poznawcze. Uściślając, chodzi o paradygmat w filozofii nauki, który upatruje główną siłę rozwoju dyscyplin badawczych w ich czynnikach wewnętrznych i racjonalnych. Skupia się na logicznej spójności, weryfikacjonizmie i metodologicznym rygorze. W kontekście logopedii jako nauki podejście to pozwala na wyodrębnienie jej autonomicznej tożsamości poprzez trzy filary: podmiot, pracę naukową i jej wytwory oraz przedmiot. Podsumowując, internalizm w logopedii manifestuje się dążeniem do budowania systemu twierdzeń o wysokim stopniu racjonalności i autoanalizy. Logopedia tym samym przestaje być zbiorem luźnych obserwacji praktycznych, staje się zaś nauką teoretyczną, zdolną do głębokiego opisu rzeczywistości dzięki rygorystycznym procedurom metodologicznym i własnej aparaturze pojęciowej.

This article addresses speech and language therapy conceptualized as a scientific discipline. The analytical framework adopted is internalism as a metascientific view asserting that the development of science is driven primarily by internal factors, especially cognitive determinants. More specifically, internalism constitutes a paradigm within the philosophy of science that locates the principal source of advancement of research disciplines in their internal and rational factors. It emphasizes logical coherence, verificationism, and methodological rigor. In the context of speech and language therapy, this approach allows for distinguishing its autonomous identity through three pillars: the subject, scientific work and its products, and the object of study. In summary, internalism in speech and language therapy manifests itself in the systematic pursuit of building a body of propositions characterized by a highly rational and self-reflective. Thus, speech and language therapy goes beyond a set of loosely connected practical observations and becomes a theoretical science, capable of providing a deep description of reality through rigorous methodological procedures and its own conceptual framework.
